Most of you know that Eminem has been making tons of changes over the years. The biggest recent thing has been him getting off drugs. Second biggest would be his new rap supergroup the Slaughterhouse. Through this time though, he’s always been making great music and staying out of the bad light that some would want to put on him.
Now it seems though that Eminem is trying a new thing – Giving advice on professional sports. Recently, he was interviewed in GQ Magazine, and he stated to the reporter that he doesn’t like Dallas.
“Just for the record – I am a Lions fan first and foremost,” Eminem said. “But growing up as a kid, the Lions were so bad for so long, that I picked up another team in the Cowboys.
“I don’t want to sound like everyone else, but I think Romo is the best” Said Eminem.
Making jokes during the interview, he stated he’s considering releasing a few songs about Tim Tebow of Bronco fame. A lot of things rhyme with Tebow, though, right?” Hmmm. Yeah.
GQ also asked him for his predictions for the Super Bowl – which at press time were New England and New Orleans. Which isn’t a bad guess overall.
He has dropped lines in songs about sports before, so maybe this is no big deal, but Ol’ Emsy doesn’t say much, so like Kanye West, it’s always worth a listen! Maybe he was inspired by Slaughterhouse member, Joe Budden’s, appearance on ESPN’s “First Take” a few weeks ago. He did say though, he is also a fan of Joey B.
